Our Program focuses on improving the well-being of children and seniors in need, especially those most vulnerable and marginalized by poverty. Founded by Guatemalans over 37 years ago, our locally-led organization is uniquely equipped to go to the region’s most broken, heart-wrenching places. Villages where it’s hard to be a child.

We take a holistic approach, working alongside communities to tackle the root causes of poverty and create sustainable change in more than 70 marginalized villages of rural Guatemala.

In-Person Relationship

Sponsors are invited to come visit: meet your sponsored individual, see their community and meet their family. See firsthand how your giving impacts lives every day, and how BIG hugs can change futures.

Individual Needs Met

Whether it’s through supplemental family food, access to medical attention, supplies for school, new shoes, or even Christmas gifts: we meet needs so that children can just be kids.
